Job Description

Microsoft is inviting applications for its Technical Support Engineering Apprenticeship Program 2026. This opportunity is designed for students graduating in 2026 who are looking to build a strong foundation in technical support, troubleshooting, customer service, and Microsoft technologies. Selected candidates will receive structured training on Microsoft products, technical troubleshooting, communication skills, and customer support operations. Apprentices will work alongside experienced professionals while gaining real-world exposure to enterprise IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

Handle and track IT service requests and technical support incidents. Analyze customer issues and identify suitable solutions. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related problems. Maintain accurate records of incidents and support activities. Follow Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely issue resolution. Install, configure, and support software applications and productivity tools. Utilize remote support technologies to assist users effectively. Escalate complex technical issues when necessary. Access and leverage internal knowledge bases for faster problem resolution. Continuously enhance technical and communication skills through learning programs.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduating in 2026 with a Bachelor's degree in: Information Technology Computer Science Electronics Related Engineering disciplines No active academic backlogs. Must not have held a full-time job before the apprenticeship. Candidates who previously completed an apprenticeship must maintain the required eligibility gap before joining. Strong interest in technical support and customer-facing technology roles.
