Job Description

NatWest Group is looking for a passionate AWS DevOps Engineer to join its engineering team. In this role, you will build, automate, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications while supporting modern DevOps practices. You will collaborate with software engineers, architects, and business teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in AWS cloud services, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation who want to work on enterprise-scale cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable DevOps solutions. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. Automate software build, testing, deployment, and release processes. Manage application deployments across development, testing, and production environments. Work with container technologies including Docker and Amazon ECS/EKS. Implement DevSecOps practices, including security scanning and secrets management. Monitor cloud infrastructure using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve software delivery. Troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize application performance. Follow Agile development methodologies and engineering best practices.
