Job Description

Cognizant is hiring fresh graduates for its Digital Workplace Practice (Service Desk) team across India. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy solving technical problems, supporting users, and building a career in IT support and customer service. As a Service Desk Associate, you will provide first-level technical assistance to users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage support tickets, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure quick issue resolution while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-level IT support to customers through the Service Desk. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system-related issues. Log, monitor, and manage support tickets within defined service levels. Escalate complex technical issues to specialized support teams when required. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions. Create and update knowledge base articles for common issues. Deliver excellent customer service while supporting users across different locations. Ensure timely issue resolution with minimal business disruption.

No active backlogs or standing arrears at the time of joining. Candidates enrolled in full-time postgraduate programs are not eligible. Must be willing to work from any Cognizant office across India. Flexible to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts when required. Open to Indian citizens and OCI candidates currently residing in India.
